Na época\, os criadores Jim Benson e Jeremy Lightsmith procuravam uma técnica que apoiasse a discussão das técnicas Lean no trabalho do conhecimento. Eles queriam um grupo que não dependesse de mais nada além de pessoas aparecendo e desejando aprender ou criar. \nO Lean Coffee é uma reunião estruturada\, mas sem agenda. Os participantes juntam-se\, definem a slot de tempo a usar (ex: 5min)\, sugerem os temas a discutir\, votam nos temas sugeridos para criar uma lista priorizada\, e começam a conversar acerca do tema do topo da lista durante o tempo definido. As leaders in organizations\, we strive to be good shepherds of the resources in our care – including the diverse group of people on our teams. To do this\, and to realize the greatest benefit for our projects\, we need to ensure our teammates feel safe to bring their unique experiences and best self to their work. By incorporating human-centered design /design thinking methodologies into your leadership toolkit\, you will be able to lower some structural barriers to success. Through a mix of storytelling\, statistics\, and practical activities\, this webinar will guide you to becoming a more aware team leader so you can move beyond having a diverse team and into having a high – functioning\, engaged and inclusive one. \nLearning Outcomes:\nDistinguish between diversity and inclusion\nArticulate key benefits for inclusion on project teams\nSummarize the business case for human-centered design\nIdentify how human-centered design activities can overcome barriers to inclusion\nApply human-centered design thinking to project management practices \nSpeaker\nErik K.
