PM Debate Ethics in Project Management

What is Ethics, why it is important and the relevance of Ethics to project managers day-to-day are the main topics on the agenda of this roundtable.

Four renown speakers and a magnificent moderator will come together from different geographies to discuss their perspectives on Ethics in Project Management.

Thought provocative questions ranging from theoretical thinking to practical knowledge will energize the debate building on a range of experiences and sharing valuable insights.

Moderator

Giusi Meloni 

Her background is in humanities and has combined linguistics, literature and psychology with management expertise, working within and with organizations of varied sectors, dimensions and cultures.

In the past two decades, she has dedicated herself to helping individuals and organizations to achieve their potential and spend most of her time training and coaching individuals and teams.

She draws from both her management and consultancy experience to create a safe and comfortable space where individuals and organizations may learn, work and develop their own best practices.  She grounds her work on recognized frameworks and cutting-edge research to model the skillset that best fits the organization and the individuals.

She is a frequent speaker at local and international events, and she is currently the President of the PMI Northern Italy Chapter.

Giusi actively contributed as a Chair to the PMI Ethics Member Advisory Group.

Speakers

Dan Conrad 

As the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Dan Conrad manages the legal team and provides overall leadership, planning, and oversight of all worldwide legal and compliance matters for the organization and PMI Educational Foundation.

As the organization’s Corporate Secretary Dan provides regular support and counsel to the PMI Board of Directors.

Fabio Rigamonti 

Fabio Rigamonti is a project and program manager with almost 20 years of experience in ERP implementations across Europe.

He has held several volunteer positions for PMI as Team Lead for the Ethics in Project Management – CoP, then member of the Ethics Member Advisory Group (EMAG), and now Communication Director for the PMI Northern Italy Chapter.

Nicos Kourounakis 

Nicos Kourounakis is the President of the PM2 Alliance, a Management Consultant, a Trainer and an Author.

Over the past 10 years, he has been leading consulting projects at major EU Institutions such as the European Commission, the European Parliament, the European Council, the European Central Bank, the European Investment Bank, and several EU Agencies.

Simona Bonghez

Simona has an IT background, but project management is what defines her as a professional.

Fifteen years ago, she has founded Colors in Projects, and she continues to lead the services of this training and consulting company both in Romania and Europe.

She was president of PMI Romania Chapter, member of the Ethics Member Advisory Board and starting with 2023 she is in the Board of Directors of PMI Global Accreditation Center.
